He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Charland and Imelda Charland (Guillemette); and his sister Rita Silva. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Hoyt (Richard) of Watertown, Michael Charland of Waterbury, Lisa Hanson (Scott) of Watertown, Glen Charland (Janet) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Garth Charland (Teresa) of Thomaston; and his wife Eleanor. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
