He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertrand Thompson and Jenny Thompson (Larson); and his siblings, Bertrand, Raymond, Robert, Richard Thompson, Shirley Kalwat and Gertrude Bury.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thompson (Root); his sons, S. Adam Thompson of Fort Myers, FL and Randall W.; his daughter-in-law Margaret "Peggy" Root of Middletown, CT; his daughter Lorianne; his son-in-law Thomas Siomades of Leawood, KS; and his grandchildren, Sherry Pardue (Todd) of Fairfax Station, VA, Michelle Ann Root, Sunday Honor Siomades, Alexander Beach Siomades (Sasha) and Alexandra Nicole Pardue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
