We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 86, George J. McAuliffe Sr. of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McAuliffe and Mary McAuliffe (Rose); his siblings, William, Richard McAuliffe and Eleanor Dutton; and his granddaughter Kiera Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Florence McAuliffe (Fyler); his children, Debra Johnson (Wayne) of Bristol, George J. McAuliffe, Jr. (Carla) of Atlanta, GA and Elizabeth Apruzze (Gerardo) of Farmington; his stepchildren, Kathleen Hatch (Larry) of Burlington, VT, Laurie Beasley of Bristol and Paul Annis (Traci Howland) of East Hampton; his sister Mary "Mitzi" Tassone of Farmington; and his sister-in-law Joanne McAuliffe of Farmington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
