He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Hurlburt and Elizabeth Hurlburt (Nevins); and his sisters, Beverly Renda, Audrey Jackowiak, Katherine DiBella and Betty Lou Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his daughters, Cindy Emery (William) of Island Falls, ME, Diane Skelskey of Bristol and Susan Vieira (Richard Wiederhorn); his sisters, Carol Medvid of Warwick and Patricia Hurlburt (Betty Lou Richards); his brother-in-law Clifton Holt (Donna) of Plainville; and his grandchildren, Christopher Emery, Allison Roundy (Darren), Amy Kelley (Mike), Ian Skelskey, Natalie and Joaquim Vieira, Jr.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
