She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Lindsey (Brown) and Celestene Crockett (Barnes); and her brothers, Dave and Calvin. She is survived by: her children, Andre Van Allen, Sonya M. Allen-Roeth and Frederick C. Allen Jr.; her grandchildren, Ashley Marie Shannon, Jasmine Alysha Swartz, Andre L. Allen and Scott Allen; her great grandchild Ember Rayne Swartz; and her sisters, Brenda Josephs and Donna Crockett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins.
