It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene A. Zahnke of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zahnke and Mary Zahnke (Brauer); and his siblings, Larry Zahnke and Gloria Herold. He is survived by: his significant other Beverly (Sonstroem); his children, Dawn Parker of Bristol, Wes (Kerry) of Raleigh, NC and Gayle Levine (Rob) of West Hartford; and his great grandchildren, Paislee and Oaklee Parker. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great-grand-children.
