He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelus Pelkey and Irene A. Pelkey (Berth); his wife Frances Pelkey (Kolibczynski); his daughter Irene Pelkey Yeski; and his siblings, William Pelkey, Mary Kania, Julia Pelkey Lis and Mildred Pelkey Lozewski.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Pelkey Day (Dwight), Barbara Pelkey Gardner (TY) of Terryville and William Pelkey (Debra) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Nicole Day, Megan Day Kathan (Dakota) and Robert Pelkey of Bristol; his stepgrandson Tony; his sister Blanche Pelkey Failor; and his son-in-law Frederick Yeski of Plainville. He is also survived by great-grandson on the way and several nieces and nephews.
