He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph S.; and his sister Anna Mae Kaminski. He is survived by: his parent Anna Reed (Donovan); his son Thomas Reed; his sister-in-law George Reed of Bristol; his sisters, Viola Papapietro of Burlington and Ruth Raymond of Bristol; his stepson Michael Romano (Sanita); and also, Joseph Reed of Bristol and Alice Reed of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
