He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Dube and Antoinette Dube (Turcotte); and his brother René Dube. He is survived by: his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Carol Dube of Wolcott, CT; his daughters, Sharon (Joel Templeton), Lisa (David Anderson), Sandra (Glenn White) and Stacey (Jessie Gallagher); his siblings, Joseph Dube of Bristol, CT and Cynthia Dube of Southington, CT; his grandchildren, Brett, Todd, Amber, Cory, Simone, Athena, Huckleberry, Fiona, Shilleleigh, Calliope and Atticus; and his great grandchild Harper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“It was always my pleasure to work with Ed at GE Plainville in the 1980's in the engineering department. We were maintaining and improving Industrial Circuit breaker designs. His work was always thorough and precise. Mostly I remember how he approached life and his work with good cheer. That is the mark of a great man. I'm sure his good cheer and attitude were at least partially the secret of his long life. Rest in Peace Ed.”
