It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar J. Hamel Jr. of Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa M. Hamel; his parents, Edgar J. Hamel and Edith Harden Hamel; and his siblings, Helen Hamel Rich, Lorraine Hamel Rulli and Robert Hamel.
He is survived by: his children, Edgar Hamel (Jay) of Plano, Texas, Susan Thiem (Michael) of Bristol, Laureen Roberts (Ronald) of Hilton Head, SC, Donald Hamel (Maria) of Norwich, CT and Robert Hamel (Joann) of Plainville, CT. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; several nephews; a niece; cousins; and dear friends.
