M Plourd wrote a sympathy message

“Dottie had a beautiful, loving spirit. She supplied babysitting for our daughter Rebecca. She was a great neighbor whose loss we feel keenly. Dottie & I often exchanged dinner plans or talked about church music. She was a comfort in difficult times or a companion during moments of joy. We would have backyard chats as our 2 yards met behind our houses. We loved her stuffed cabbage & she enjoyed our lasagna, as well as baked goods. Our neighborhood has lost a loving matriarch & a kind heart. 💔”

Kathleen Van wrote a sympathy message

“I remember the good times we shared...Enjoying Pedicures, Going to Abbott's in Noank for Lobsters, and going to the Mohegan Sun Casino . My aunt loved to go to the Casino. She could even tell me where to turn to get there If I won I would treat to a wonderful Steak dinner at Michael Jordan's Steak House. If I lost we would go to the Food Court for Hot Dogs! Either way we had fun! I know they loved watching UCONN basketball. Once I took Uncle Norman to Storrs to watch a game in person.”
