Dorothy Mae Palin Obituary

Dorothy Mae Palin, 96, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born on December 25, 1925 in Bristol, daughter of the late Sherman and Bertha (Dymond) Scoville. Dorothy was the loving wife of the late Rene L. Palin, sharing 66 years before his passing in 2011. Dorothy is survived by her son David Palin and his wife Nancy of OH; daughter Judith Caron of Bristol; grandchildren Richard Breski and his wife Deana, Lynn Lutz and her husband Tim and Kathy Palin; six great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Dorothy is pre-deceased by her siblings Barbara Domingue, William Scoville, Faith Bettua and a son-in-law Gary Caron. The family would like to thank Dorothy's caregiver of 5 years, Joanne Czarnecki, who was like family to them, for her loving care and support. Calling hours will be held at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol on Friday, March 4, 2022 starting at 10 AM until a procession to St. Matthew Church for an 11:30AM Mass of Christian burial.
