He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Ginnerty and Mary M. Griffin of Providence, RI.; and his wife Joan P. Ginnerty (Campbell). He is survived by: his children, Donald Ginnerty of Bristol, Michael (Nancy Ginnerty) of Bristol, Kevin (Gretchen Ginnerty) of Raleigh, NC and Kristine Zeman of Fairfax, VA.; his brother Robert J. Ginnerty of Statesville, NC.; his grandchildren, Patrick, Alexander, Joseph, Brian Ginnerty, Micaela Frost, Erin Causey and Kaitlyn Zeman; and his great grandchildren, Abigail and Micah Frost.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (33 Queen St, Bristol, CT 06010). A committal service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (522 Terryville Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Don's honor to the Ingraham Manor recreation fund or Bristol Hospital Hospice Care program.
