We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025, at the age of 94, Dolores Russo Komosa of Bristol, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dolores Russo may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele Russo and Catherine Russo (Pellicano); and her sister Antoinette Fusco. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Russo (Tony Russo) of Bristol; her grandson Michael Russo (Teresa); her great grandchildren, Mariah and Melina Russo of Burlington; and her niece Donna Kuhr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (235 Maltby St, Bristol, CT 06010).
