He was predeceased by: his mother Helen; his brothers, Andrew, Charles and Robert; his uncle Harry Kirsch; and his sister-in-law Anna Fazekas.

He is survived by: his niece Karen Bollert of Trumbull; his nephews, Andrew Fazekas of Port Charlotte, FL., Charles Fazekas of Woodbury, Peter Fazekas of Stratford and Robert L. Fazekas of Aiken, SC.; and his sister-in-law Joan Fazekas of Stratford.
