He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Varley (Donahue). He is survived by: his father James Varley (Deborah Chapman) of Southington; his wife Candi Varley (Veilleux); his children, James Varley of Bristol and Sarah Varley of Bristol; his siblings, Jay Varley of Farmington and Maureen Roberts (Christopher) of Waterbury; and his nieces, Megan Myska, Jena Varley and Caitlyn Varley.
He was also a very active member of Teamsters Local # 671 where he donated a lot of his time.
