He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Japonis and Joseph Japonis; and his sister Dolores Moore of Florida. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Japonis; his children, David Japonis Jr. (Roni) of Bristol, CT, Diana (Geoffrey Holmes) of Sheffield, MA, Dennis Japonis (Melissa) of Plainville, CT and Daniel Japonis (Geri) of Bristol, CT.; his grandchildren, Khalen, Kamden, Alicia, Garrett, Brandon, Ashley, Paige and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Christopher and Gunnar.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the West Cemetery (49 Pound St, Bristol, CT 06010).
