Charles Wayne Porter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Wayne Porter of Bristol, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary E. Porter; his parents, Charles F. Porter and Emelie Porter (Choiniere); his daughter Christine M. Beechey; and his granddaughter Nicole Brady.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen M. Gotlibowski (Paul) of Bristol, Stephen C. Porter (Marie) of Burlington and Shawn A. Porter (Deborah) of Bristol; his son-in-law James Beechey of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister Barbara Lussier of Pittsfield, MA; and his sister-in-law Florence Savery of Lenox, MA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ahern Funeral Home (111 Main St, Unionville, CT 06085). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
