She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Oakes; her parents, Leo Fongemie and Ozianne Fongemie (Roussel); her sisters, Lorraine Fongemie and Marie Odess; her sister-in-law Linda Fogemie; and her pet Crissy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lee Fongemie of Vernon, Willard Fongemie (Diana) of Bosier City, LA, Aline Clouse (Lowell) of Bristol and Jackie Fongemie of Vernon; and her brother-in-law Bruce Odess of Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
