Though Alex may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alex touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his daughter Esperanza Lopez. He is survived by: his parents, Jesucita Angel and Norberto Lopez; and his sisters, Yoselin Lopez (Anthony Thomas Yacino) and Nelly Lopez (Chad Anthony Vassell).
