He is survived by: his spouse Marcia Lazauskas (Janik); his children, Michelle Schaffrick of New Britain and Brian Lazauskas of Bristol; his sister Judy Pawalczyk; his brother-in-law George Pawalczyk; and his grandson Jacob Schaffrick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
