Hazel Dickinson Pitcher Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 102, Hazel Dickinson Pitcher of Bridgewater, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Pitcher; her parents, William Dickinson and Mary Dickinson (Wagner); her sisters, Anne Campbell and Louise Greene; and her great grandchild Kristina Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Warren of New Milford, William of Bridgewater and Janet Young (Robert) of Bridgewater; and her grandchildren, Lisa Todd, Warren Christopher Pitcher, Shannon Young Thompson, Gene Pitcher and Evan Pitcher. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandaughter.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (5 Main St S, Bridgewater, CT 06752). She was so honored when he was awarded the Key to the Town of Bridgewater in 2017 for her volunteerism and when the Bridgewater Grange organized a parade by her home to honor her on her 100th birthday during Covid.
Donations may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the Bridgewater Grange, or the RVNA Hospice.
