He was predeceased by: his parents, Colman Adams and Willie Thompson; and his siblings, Bobby, Colman, Charles, James, Mary and Mamie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Adams; his sons, William Adams Jr. of Greenwich, Connecticut and Thyhason Adams (Laura) of Bridgeport, Connecticut; his brother George Adams (Aundra) of Gastonia; and his friends, Ray McSwain and Felix Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM at the Community Funeral Chapels (798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A repast was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Universal Faith Outreach (66 Harriet St, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
