We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025, at the age of 81, Maria T. Rivera of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurelio Rivera and Benita Rivera of Utuado; and her husband Isabelo Mendez. She is survived by: her children, Iris N. Mendez and Edwin Mendez; her grandchildren, Carlos Diaz, Sandra Cruz, Joel Diaz, Edwin Mendez Jr. and Marcus Mendez; and her great grandchildren, Calvin Diaz, Jayden Diaz, Jaylanny Diaz, Ethan Diaz, Bentley Diaz, Sky Guzman, Alexus McLaughlin, Jacob Mendez, Jaxson Mendez, Kaidyn Mendez, Malani Mendez and Calia Mendez. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Community Funeral Chapels (798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
