She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcelino A. Garcia and Antonia F. Curbelo; her husband Felix M. Fernandez Sr.; and her son Felix M. Fernandez, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Aleida Alfonso; her sons, Carlos and Reynol; and her great grandchild Rigoberto Alfonso. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
