He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Antonio, Maria Martins and Maria Pires; his aunt Lisa Pires; and his mother-in-law Susan Legen.
He is survived by: his parent Gloria Vieira Martins Pires of Bridgeport; his wife Tina Marie Legen Pires; his children, Grayson Alexander Pires and Victoria Lynn Pires; his aunts and uncles, Adriel (Eddie) Martins (Eva), Joaquina Ferreira, Maria Adelaide Oliveira, David Pires, Valdemar Pires, Ana Texeira, Antonio Pires and Teresa Timpanelli; his godson Devin Roxo; his cousin Michael Freitas; and his father-in-law Bruce Legen. He is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lawncroft Cemetery (1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to an education fund to benefit Lelo's children, checks payable to Christina Pires.
