He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Parker and Joseph Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Doris G. Haynes; his son Joseph A. Haynes, Jr.; his sister Jacqueline Pankey (John) of Stratford, CT; his siblings-in-law, Eugene W. Givens of Edgewood, MD and Shirley Givens of Brentwood; and his goddaughter Karen A. Soares-Robinson. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Messiah Baptist Church (210 Congress St, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
