He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Figueroa and Emilia Figueroa (Gerena); his brother Jesse Figueroa; and his son-in-law Ricardo Ramos. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Figueroa (Colon); his children, Jose Figueroa (Rachel) and Ivette Ramos; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Ariana, Aidan Figueroa and Alexander Ramos; and his sister Nellie Figueroa of Orlando Florida.

He also enjoyed his trips to the casino for his weekly "donation".
