With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Maxwell Sr. (Bridgeport, Connecticut), born in Lavonia, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Maxwell (Gladys Winters Maxwell) and Eugene; his siblings, William, Herbert and Dolly; and his former wife Margaret Maxwell.

He is survived by: his children, Eugene Troy Maxwell (Chandra Danika) and Torshia V. Maxwell; his grandsons, Troy Maxwell and Joseph Maxwell; and his brother Benjamin Maxwell. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew; and countless friends.
