With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Spinelli of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on April 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Ercole P. Spinelli; her parents, Harvey Riviello and Dorothy Riviello (Anzalone); her daughter Cheryl Weiss (Rudy); her grandsons, Dion Roach and Wayne Lindberg; and her siblings, Gerry Riviello, Ross Riviello, Samuel Riviello, Arthur Riviello, Harvey Riviello, Albert Riviello and Joan Andrews.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kasich, Deborah Salerno (Jay) and Genevieve Gallo (Skip); her grandchildren, Kiesha Quattrucci (Donald), Justyn Kasich (Angela), Paul Kasich, Marco Weiss (Maggie), Jessica Gallo, Brittany Lindberg, AJ Gallo and Michelle Kasich; and her siblings, Rose Marie Farash, Dorothy Kollman, Robert Riviello (Ofelia) and Edward Riviello (Christine). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (200 Shelton Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
