With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Mary Bodek of Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Olowiany and Mary Kratzer Olowiany; and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bodek of Bridgeport, CT; her children, Dr. Kenneth Bodek (Stacy), Audrey of Winston-Salem, NC and Elaine Bodek (Chuck Ritenour) of Bridgeport; her grandsons, Dr. Daniel Bodek (Colleen) and Laurence Bodek (Ann Marie); her great grandchildren, Anna and Molly; her sister Patricia Olowiany of Larksville; and her nephews, Michael and David Novrocki.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (126 Nesbitt St, Larksville, PA 18651). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (399 Lake Street, Dallas, PA 18612).
