As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carmen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Dumes and Rosenda Moran Dumes; and her sisters, Graciela and Amalia. She is survived by: her sons, Tonny Castro, Jimmy Castro, Douglas Castro, Stewart Salazar, Manuel Salazar and Crecencio Salazar; and her brother Pedro Dumes. She is also survived by her six sons, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and countless relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz / Rodriguez Funeral Services (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
