He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao and Herminia Lavaredas (Moutinho). He is survived by: his wife Ilda Lavaredas (Ribas); his children, John Lavaredas (Marina) and Sonia Lavaredas (Angel Melendez); his grandchildren, Jeremi Rosado, Saraya Rosado, John Paul Lavaredas, Sofia Lavaredas and Joaquim Lavaredas; and his sister Albertina Santos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
