Anthony E. Stavros Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 96, Anthony E. Stavros (Bridgeport, Connecticut) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anthony E. Stavros to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos Stavropoulos and Ekaterini Andriopoulou Stavropoulos; his siblings, Haralambos Stavropoulos and Eleni Latsoudis; and his brother-in-law George Latsoudis.
He is survived by: his wife Effie Koukoulas Stavros; his daughter Katherine Stavros Bruder (John); his grandsons, Sean Bruder (Samantha) and Erik Bruder (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Hayden, Jameson and Mackenzie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Mountain Grove Cemetery (2675 North Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Anthony's memory.
