He was predeceased by: his wife Corinne Carrignan Nitido; his parents, Vincent Nitido and Mary Fazzina Nitido; his grandson Brian Meyer; and his siblings, Helen Davey, Alfred, Arthur and Robert Nitido.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Nitido (Laurie), Richard Nitido (Kelly), Thomas Nitido (Wendy), Nancy Meyer (Lee), Mary Horvath (Jamie) and Dianne Eagan (Jim).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516). A prayer will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (871 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
