She was predeceased by: her parents, Schley Vece and Anna Vece (Marino) of New Haven, Connecticut.; her siblings, Dan Vece of Clinton and Florence Vece of Hamden, Connecticut.; and her husband Dr. George Anthony Florentine.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Florentine of Branford, Connecticut, George Florentine (Margaret) of Braintree, Massachusetts, Wendy Parente (Oscar) of Orange, Connecticut, Richard Florentine (Janice) of Madison, Connecticut and James Florentine (Helen) of Woodinville, Washington.. She is also survived by her siblings' and her cousins' children.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese Church/ St. John Bosco Parish (105 Leetes Island Rd, Branford, CT 06405).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in her memory to a charity of choice.
