We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Sophie M. Glinski Connelly of Branford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Connelly; her parents, Boleslaw Glinski and Stephania Glinski (Rachupka); and her siblings, Walter, Zigmont, Stanley, Michael, Henry, Jennie Carpenter, Blanche Glinski, Henrica Tourtellotte, Lillian Kisloski and Sally Cormier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maureen Yourell (Sean) of Portland, CT and Jane Greenblott (David) of Newburyport, MA; her grandchildren, Austin, Audra and Alexis Greenblott; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Connelly (LaVerle) and John Riley (Marguerite). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405 – an organization close to Sophie's heart.
