He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Anne Burns of West Haven, Andrew and Bridget Shine of Tullylease; his uncle Donald Burns, Jr. of West Haven; and his pet Bubba.
He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Telford Burns of New Haven and Mary Shine Burns of Guilford, Connecticut.; his aunt Pamela Skeens; his cousin Allyson Tanner (Jeff) of Old Saybrook, Connecticut.; his uncles, Jeremiah Shine (Theresa) of Ballyclough and Patrick Shine (Kathleen) of Tullylease; his cousins, Aidan Shine (Ann), Bottlehill, Austin Shine of Tullylease, Edel Kelleher (Conor) of Brisbane, Liam Shine (Rosie), Donal Shine (Suzanne), Derry Shine (Donna) of Dublin and Andrew Shine (Kay) of Ballyclough; and his friend Ryan.
