With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard H. Armstead of Branford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Armstead and Ann Brinza Armstead; and his nephew David. He is survived by: his son Scott Mongillo (Carrie); his grandchildren, Caitlin Nickas (Michael), Cheslea Mongillo and Scott Mongillo, Jr. (Abi Bernier); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Zoey and Maxwell; his siblings, Robert (Sharon), Michael, Kari Zan, Martha Meizies and Bonnie Armstead; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy, Kendra, Michael and Pete.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Covenant House in NYC.
