It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rich Cassista of Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rich leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Rich may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Cassista and Marion Hall Cassista; and his brother Ernest Cassista. He is survived by: his wife Carol Esposito Cassista; his sons, Richard R. Cassista, Jr. of Omaha, NE and Craig S. Cassista (Paige Odell); his granddaughter Tara Cassista; and his sister Betty Soufrine of Woodbridge.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W.'s. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary Church (731 Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
