In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rich leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Rich may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Carafeno; his parent Willideon Cargill Carafeno; his son Bryan Carafeno; and his grandson Matthew Gonsalves. He is survived by: his children, Kim Sandillo (Sandy) of Branford, Glenn Carafeno (Tracy) of East Haven and Cheryl Carafeno of Westbrook; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ryan Carafeno, Andrew Gonsalves, Kyle Sandillo and Vincent Carafeno; and his great grandchild Jase Carafeno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the St. Agnes Cemetery (295 E Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
