With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucas James McHale of Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lucas James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucas James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his significant other Amy Preiss; his parents, James McHale and Jamieson McHale; his sister Alexandra; and his nephew Ethan.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Orange Center Cemetery. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:30 PM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
