She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edgar R. Surprenant, Jr.; her children, Stephen R. Surprenant of Dallas, TX, Laura J. Surprenant of Branford, CT, Theresa H. Surprenant (Roland Wang) of North Branford, CT and Rebecca M. (James Jacobs, Sr.) of North Haven, CT.; her grandchildren, Allison, Marissa and Natalee Wang; her stepgrandchildren, James Jr. and Ashley Jacobs; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jayden and Cameron; and her parents, Everett Steen and Helen Steen (Winters).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Church (385 Townsend Ave, New Haven, CT 06512).
