She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mortimer and Anne Mortimer (Greene); her former husband Angelo Squeglia; her husband Thomas Zacks; her stepdaughter Lorraine Brooks; and her brothers, Bill Mortimer and George Mortimer Jr..
She is survived by: her brothers, Thomas Mortimer of Branford and Bruce Mortimer of Buffalo; her stepgrandchildren, Kim, Heather and Wayne; and her great grandchild Billy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06512).
She was a generous lady, always willing to give or donate to any veteran's organizations.
