He was predeceased by: his spouse Gayle Witter Jones; his parents, Samuel Jones and Helen Jones; his brothers, William and Richard Jones; and his son-in-law Edward Bast Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline DeAngelis of East Haven, Carolyn Bast of East Haven, Margaret Esposito (Anthony) of Branford, Samantha Childs (Jason) of Preston, CT and Kevin Jones (Christine) of Colchester, CT.; his sister Patricia Crimi of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Jones of New York and Stephen Witter of Connecticut. He is also survived by grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W.'s. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
