It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Lane of Branford, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Fortin and Aline Fortin (Charette); her husband Joseph Lane, Sr.; her sister Diana Ferland; and her niece Karla Fortin.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Suarez (David) of East Haven, Marlene Hobart (Shawn) of East Haven and Joseph Lane, Jr. (Jenni) of Iowa; her grandchildren, David Suarez II, Gabriel Suarez, Matthew Gogliettino (Christina), Andrew Gogliettino, Joshua Lane, Ayden Lane and Kiera Vecchitto; her great grandchildren, Gabriella and Luca Gogliettino; her siblings, Carlton Fortin (Paula) of Utah, Dana Fortin of Maine and Elizabeth Dube of Utah; and her brother-in-law William Ferland of Maine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the East Lawn Cemetery (58 River St, East Haven, CT 06512).
