Alphonse left this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 44, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Alphonse William Mele; and his uncle James Nuzzello. He is survived by: his mother Donna Nuzzello of East Haven; his wife Christine Mele (Shebell) of Branford; his daughter Maya Shebell; his brothers, William Mele (Katie DeStefano) of East Haven, Vincent Staffa (Stephanie) of North Haven and Edward Mele of Branford; his in-laws, David and Rae Shebell (Vastola) of Branford; and his niece Natalia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
