He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lathrop (Gill); his children, James Lathrop Jr. (Meme) of Wakefield, RI and Pamela Lathrop (Donald Chapelle) of North Andover, MA; his granddaughter Sarah Lathrop (Ben Swan) of Philadelphia, PA.; and his siblings, Richard, Tyron, Linwood, Donald, Evelyn and Patricia.
