He was predeceased by: his brother Sean Olson. He is survived by: his parents, Ann M. Olson of Vernon and John C. Olson of Fairfield; his siblings, Timothy (Darcy) and Jamie (Greg); his niece Emery; his nephew Gavin; his grandmother Lillian Boisvert; and also Mark Derench. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Donations may be made in his honor to local addiction services or any charity of choice.
