She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Carpenter; and her stepfather-in-law Gilbert Negro. She is survived by: her husband James Beckwith; her son James Beckwith of Washington, D. C.; her mother Gladys Carpenter of Middlefield, CT; her siblings, Becky Cousino (John) of Middlefield, CT and Brian Carpenter of Middlefield; her parents-in-law, Dail Negro of Hebron, CT and James (Lorraine Beckwith); and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Barrett (Roger) of Bolton, CT and Steve Beckwith (Claudine) of Texas. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
